The Country Canine evolved from the concept of ensuring that your dog has a home away from home. Being a dog mom, myself, my pet’s well being and happiness is #1. Finding trustworthy, responsible care is so difficult. We are here to make your decision in canine care easy peasy!

Chloe Ferguson, the creator of The Country Canine is also the Founder of Farm Dog Foster’s Sanctuary & the Adoption Coordinator for (501c3) nonprofit dog rescue, Barking Out Loud Dog Rescue, Inc. Our mission for the last 7 years has been to give homeless dogs a second chance, get them vetted and find them their perfect home! My love for dogs began as a child, having smaller breeds in our household, and during my senior year of college I began fostering for Big Fluffy Dog Rescue. Since then I moved to Florida and have fostered over 300 dogs over the last 9 years! Throughout my foster experiences I have adopted my own dogs, cats and now pigs, goats and ducks! I have learned so much about dog behavior and proper care, and have dedicated my life to sharing this love & knowledge to care for dogs who needs a home away from home!
